Sydney Bristow Uses a Mac
I always knew there was some reason I liked Sydney Bristow… she uses a Mac! Yup, as evidenced here from season one episode 14 “The Coup”. The image below is the first such proof. In the screenshot below Syd is hacking into a casino surveillance system to change a photo in their facial recognition system to match her partner, Dixon.
You can clearly see the Mac OS X Terminal running. And even though Sydney uses the tcsh shell and I’m more of a bash kinda guy it’s still really cool. There are more clear signs of Macs throughout the show. Most of the laptops you see appear to be Macs with the Apple logo removed from the backside of the screen. In season four you see an iMac appear in Syd’s bedroom, I’ll probably post that clip someday too.
