Today marks the birthday for the Macintosh line of Apple computers. Back in 1984 Apple had released the now infamous “big brother” commercial in which they proclaimed “And you’ll see why 1984 won’t be like 1984″.

The original Mac was offered at $2500 and included an extremely revolutionary device…. a mouse.

So happy 22^nd birthday to the Mac. And happy birthday to me too, I share a birthday with the Mac!
